Biocelys is a biotechnology company focused on developing raw material for treatments targeting rare diseases, establishing its operations in Uruguay. In a regional landscape without direct competition, the challenge was to translate a highly technical activity, spanning research, development, and production, into a brand that feels clear and credible. Capable of communicating its role across scientific, industrial, and broader audiences.
We positioned Biocelys as a platform that researches, develops, and produces under international standards, bringing multiple layers of complexity into a clear and structured system. The approach centers on making the scientific system visible: its processes, structures, and organized knowledge. Both conceptually and visually, the identity is built through precise, modular, and controlled structures.
The symbol is based on a typographic construction of the letter B, Biocelys, biotechnology, and structural base, acting as the core module of the system. It operates as a window into the scientific world, a container for information, and a frame to observe processes, while integrating references to DNA structures and cellular organization. The system is modular and scalable, designed to work consistently across technical applications, stationery, and plant signage. The color palette, built around deep navy with lavender and aqua accents, reinforces this logic with balance and versatility.
A brand that makes Biocelys' promise tangible: advancing life through science. A system designed to support its positioning in global markets, while clearly expressing its role within the scientific ecosystem.
