MOAI is a senior living project that proposes a new way of experiencing this stage of life. The challenge was to develop an identity that breaks away from traditional industry norms, focusing on autonomy, community, and quality of life.
We defined the brand around the idea of community. Inspired by European villages, which gave rise to many of our migrant communities, we built a concept centered on closeness, shared purpose, and everyday life. Through this strategy, we sought to position MOAI from a contemporary perspective, where design accompanies and dignifies.
We designed a visual system that combines an expandable wordmark and a flexible monogram, allowing for multiple configurations. The identity is completed with sketch-like illustrations that depict everyday scenes and gestures, adding a human touch and architectural memory to the system. The selection of premium materials such as wood, metal, and linen is integrated into the applications, creating an aesthetic of understated elegance and hospitality.
MOAI proposes a new way of living in adulthood. An identity that builds closeness and belonging, where design goes beyond aesthetics and accompanies, cares for, and dignifies.
